CHIROPRACTIC

We provide gentle adjustments utilizing advanced chiropractic techniques and tools such as the Impulse IQ. These newer correction methods are more comfortable, safer and more effective than ever before.
Traditional hands-on chiropractic adjustments are performed in the office as well as lumbar flexion-distraction. The care you receive will be tailored to your personal health history, body, and comfort level and may change from visit to visit.
DRY NEEDLING
Dry needling is a soft tissue therapy for neuromusculoskeletal conditions using fine, solid, stainless-steel needles that are inserted into pathological tissue to affect change in body structures and functions. Emerging research demonstrates how this therapy helps stimulate the healing process by decreasing inflammation, inhibition, and irritation in the body’s tissue. Dry needling is not acupuncture and is not performed in the framework of traditional Chinese medicine. It does not alter energy flow (Qi) or work with Chinese meridians.
INFRARED HOT LASER
Back to Health Chiropractic and Wellness uses a Class IV Hot Laser, one of the strongest available. It requires the non-invasive use of laser energy to generate a photochemical response in damaged or dysfunctional tissue.
Laser therapy can alleviate pain, reduce inflammation and accelerate recovery from a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
These include: arthritic pain, bursitis, carpal tunnel, fibromyalgia pain, plantar fasciitis, nerve root pain, post-operative pain, TMJ pain/dysfunction, tendonitis, wound healing.
THERAPY MODALITIES
Additional modalities may be performed to the affected joints or muscle tissue to enhance the chiropractic adjustment. Electric stimulation therapy may be done, which sends a pulsing current to specific muscles where the patches are applied, causing it to contract and relax. It can help reduce pain, muscle spasms and in some cases help with atrophy of muscle tissue.
Another effective modality is therapeutic ultrasound, which creates microscopic stimulation in the deep tissue molecules to increase heat and friction. This warming effect promotes healing in soft tissues. Heat and/or ice may be used during a patient's visit as well.
SPINAL DECOMPRESSION
Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression Therapy is a painless and effective way to treat many spinal related ailments. Using a computerized traction table, it entails a slow, controlled stretching of the spine that creates negative pressure within the discs of the spine. This in turn creates a vacuum that helps pull the disc material back into place and takes pressure off of pinched nerves. It also creates an optimal healing environment by drawing in oxygen, nutrients, and fluids back into the disc.
This therapy is helpful for herniated, bulging or protruding discs, spinal stenosis, facet syndrome, and limb numbness/pain.
