Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a soft tissue therapy for neuromusculoskeletal conditions that uses fine, solid, stainless-steel needles that are inserted into pathological tissue. This therapy affects change in body structures and functions. Emerging research demonstrates how this therapy helps stimulate the healing process by decreasing inflammation, inhibition, and irritation in the body’s tissue. Dry needling can help with many issues, including neck, shoulder, lower back, and knee pain, headaches, and more.
Dry needling is not acupuncture and is not performed in the framework of traditional Chinese medicine. It does not alter energy flow (Qi) or work with Chinese meridians.
